Background

Geothermic Solution Inc. was formed to commercialize its patented, deep rock, high temperature GeoHeat™ Harvesting Technology in order to bring competitively priced, baseload, renewable energy to the world.

The Company has a team of world-class experts in well design, drilling & completion, geology & geomechanics, power generation, energy economics, and regulatory policy. It includes former chief executives of nationally and internationally known companies led by CEO Dr. Piotr Moncarz, who has profound expertise in multi-disciplinary team leadership, and project & engineering risk management.

The team refines and improves upon ‘off the shelf’ technologies now commercially available by combining these into an integrated solution for recovering geothermal energy.  We’re taking advantage of advances in tools, equipment, and know-how as well as breakthroughs in materials science. Uniting these elements results in a system, covered by a series of patents, that produces clean, renewable energy below the cost of other generation technologies.

MITIGATED EXPLORATION RISKS

Subsurface heat is relatively easy to locate.  Because we don’t need water, we don’t have “dry holes,” just differing harvester length requirements depending on the site.

VAST NEW MARKETS

Heat can be harvested close to the end-user reducing dependence on transmission grids.  Just under half of global GDP is located above Hot Dry Rock at relatively shallow depth.

EFFICIENCY OF HIGH TEMPERATURE OPERATIONS

Using existing drilling techniques and materials, we can access 300-400 C rock without the precision required by open loop systems.  High temperatures can lead to 5x the energy output per unit of flowing heat transport [water].
